A tractor-trailer crash closed a lane of Interstate 95 in Clinton for much of the day Thursday, police said.
Around 3:50 a.m., first responders received reports of the crashed truck near mile marker 141 on the northbound side, the Maine State Police said in a statement. The truck crashed into the center median.
The driver, who was not identified, had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken via Clinton ambulance to MaineGeneral Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, police said.
An “extensive recovery operation” was expected Thursday morning, police said. The passing lane on the northbound side was expected to be closed to provide enough room for crews to work.
In a social media update at 3:18 p.m., the state police said the scene was clear and all lanes had reopened.
The tractor-trailer was carrying grocery goods.
