Marco Luciano homered twice, including a tie-breaking blast in the bottom of the seventh inning that lifted the Somerset Patriots to a 2-1 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game Tuesday night in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Both home runs were off Gage Ziehl (1-2), who allowed five hits, struck out three and walked none over seven innings.
Somerset reliever Kelly Austin was credited with the win despite a tying RBI single by Franklin Arias in the top of the seventh. Patriots starter Trent Sellers struck out 10 in 4 2/3 scoreless innings.
