School Administrative District 11 is registering children for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the 2013-14 school year.

To register for the 4-year-old program, children must be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15 and may not turn 5 before Sept. 1. Space is limited.

Kindergarten screenings are scheduled for:

* April 23 at Teresa C. Hamlin School in Randolph; 582-4252.

* May 2 at Helen Thompson School in West Gardiner; 724-3930.

* May 3 at Laura E. Richards School in Gardiner; 582-3612.

* and May 7 at Pittston Consolidated School in Pittston; 582-6268.

Children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 are eligible. Parents will need to complete a registration packet and provide their child’s original birth certificate and immunization record prior to the screening.
