The Lovell Arts & Artisans Fair committee is seeking new artists and artisans for the 47th annual event, planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the New Suncook School on Route 5 in Lovell.

All disciplines and media will be considered, and past fairs have featured painting, pottery, jewelry, quilts, rugs, wooden items, photography, fiber arts, home goods, textiles and stonework, according to a news release from the committee. There is room for 50-plus artists in the ventilated indoor gymnasium space and outdoor lawn space.

The fair benefits the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library.

Applicants should submit their work electronically for its jury to assess by Wednesday, June 1. Applicants are asked to email aafair@hobbslibrary.org with the following information:

• Full name and address of the artist and the business name;

• Photographs of the artwork to be sold at the fair;

•Photograph of exhibit booth; and

• Description of the materials used and price points.

Once juried, accepted artists will receive an agreement to complete and return with the non-refundable $50 registration fee. Additionally, an online digital option will be offered.
