WATERVILLE — The Sebasticook Regional Land Trust Speaker Series is set to host a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, on conservation efforts to protect American Kestrels and Peregrine Falcons.
The presentation, by Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife biologist Erynn Call, will be held at the Chace Community Forum, 150 Main St. in Waterville.
Attendees can learn about the history, progress, status and diverse partnerships that have developed to help American Kestrel and Peregrine Falcons thrive in the state and beyond, according to a news release from Cheryl Daigle, trust program manager.
The series is free and open to the public, a $5 donation is suggested. Presentations are held the third Wednesday of each month at the Chace forum on Main Street.
In the next program in the series, set for June 21, the Kennebec Water District will give a presentation on forest management designed to protect water supply and the health of China Lake.
