Ryder Ritchie scored with less than two minutes into overtime to lift Boston University to a 3-2 win over the University of Maine in a men’s Hockey East game on Friday in Boston.

Maine has its two-game winning streak snapped and falls to 14-11-2 overall and 8-9 in Hockey East. The Terriers improve to 13-13-2 overall and 9-10 in Hockey East.

The Black Bears took a 1-0 lead 1:22 into the second period when Frank Djurasevic scored from Max Scott and Lukas Peterson. Jack Murtagh tied it for BU less than two minutes later, but Maine took the lead back on a goal by Scott 11:33 into the second.

Cole Eiserman scored to tie it 4:27 into the third period for Boston University.

Alban Boija stopped 28 shots for Maine, while Mikhail Yegorov made 28 saves for BU.
