Diabetes has disabled Bonnie McKenney, 62, of Boothbay Harbor. A few years ago she lost her left big toe and recently had to have additional surgery on that foot. The former restaurant worker, a native of Southport Island, says she is grateful for the food — especially fresh produce and lean meat — she receives at the Boothbay Region Food Pantry.
