Officials say Andrew Gifford, 24, fired a 9 mm handgun three times in a crowded hallway during a party at the Waterville college after he had been hit in the head with a bottle by a man with whom Gifford had fought years earlier.

Waterville hospice to offer 2 grief support groups
Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area has two upcoming support groups. The general Grief Support Group is scheduled to run from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesdays, starting March 28.
