An attorney for Eric Bard, 26, told the justices Tuesday police violated Bard’s constitutional right to be protected from illegal searches and seizures.

Robert W. Card, 32, was arrested on a warrant from Maine State Police over the weekend and has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
