Kennebec County awards more than $20 million in federal pandemic relief funds
Kennebec County commissioners on Tuesday endorsed a list of 39 projects to be supported by Kennebec County’s $23.7 million share of American Rescue Plan Act funds that will support child care, housing and health programs as well as sewer, water and construction projects, among others.

State workers clean up diesel fuel spill following collision in Clinton
Clinton police Chief Rusty Bell says a 70-gallon fuel tank on a dump truck was pierced when a car ran a stop sign and hit the truck, causing diesel fuel to spill along the road.
