Cony High School’s class of 2026 is set to hold a bowling fundraiser from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at Sparetime Recreation, 215 Whitten Road in Hallowell. While flood waters receded nearly a month ago, some Gardiner businesses are still clearing out damaged equipment and supplies and considering their options.
Drunken driving charge dismissed for former Hallowell Public Works Department foreman
Christopher Buck, who resigned as foreman in 2022, pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of driving to endanger after competing a court-ordered treatment program. He has been ordered to pay a fine totaling $730 and lost his driver’s license for 30 days.
