Attorneys met with Skowhegan officials Tuesday night after the group said they’ll consider legal action unless town reverses its decision to stop plowing their street.

Traffic volume and speeding complaints on side streets used as short cuts have been a problem since April.

Skowhegan Police Chief David Bucknam said crews responded to a report of a suspicious package at the business called AtWork, and the state police bomb squad had been called to investigate but later was turned back.
