FREEPORT — Community Spay-Neuter Clinic of Freeport will offer $30 spay-neuter surgeries to cat owners living in Waterville, Benton and Clinton. Free van transport brings cats to and from the clinic for day surgery every week. This is a targeted effort to reduce cat overpopulation in Waterville.

FAIRFIELD — Private First Class Casey D. Wadleigh, 18, of Fairfield recently graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C..
