FARMINGDALE — A local man charged in connection with a stolen computer last week was arrested the next day for driving without a license.

Isaiah White, 34, was summoned on a charge of possession of stolen property, Maine State Police Lt. David Tripp said in a news release. The following day White was arrested on Maine Avenue and charged with operating after suspension.

Trooper Eric Verhille contacted White on March 14 after an Apple MacBook was reported missing from Hall-Dale Middle School.

“White admitted to keeping the MacBook for himself after his son transferred to Cony,” Tripp said.

Verhille stopped White the next day on Maine Avenue. White had one previous conviction for operating after suspension, Tripp said.
