BANGOR — Bangor Hydro crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers in Penobscot County after high winds took down power lines.
The utility says about 3,800 homes and businesses have been affected. Power is expected to be restored by late afternoon, but more outages or delays are possible if the wind continues.
