PITTSFIELD — Sebasticook Valley Health recently announced that the hospital has been recognized by The Joint Commission as a top performer nationally in key quality measures in 2011. The announcement was made in a Joint Commission September 2012 publication called Top Performers on Key Quality Measures.
According to information shared with the president’s office, the hospital is in the top 18 percent of all accredited U.S. hospitals that have attained excellence in accountability measure performance. This information is ascertained using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to be the best treatments for many different conditions.
