YORK — Bethany Marshall, daughter of Charles and Laurie Marshall of York, and Matthew St. John, son of Mark and Theressa St. John of Wayne, were married on June 30, 2012, in a seaside ceremony in York. The bride’s uncle, Christopher Smith, performed the ceremony.
The wedding party consisted of family and close friends, with Karalyn Marshall, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elyse Cole, Lauren Desmond, Laura St. John and Erika Wing. Avery Strickler was the flower girl.
Joe Parker was best man. Groomsmen were Oliver Pettengill, Dave Kerschner, Chad Marshall, and Isaac Hutchinson.
A reception was held at the York Golf and Tennis Club.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of York High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed as a Health Coach at Maine Medical Consultants in Leeds.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Maranacook High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a Jobs for Maine Graduates Teacher at Hall-Dale High School.
The couple honeymooned in Naples, Fla. and live in Winthrop with their dog, Oxford.
