AUGUSTA — Katharin Rodrigue and Richard South were married Oct. 28, 2011, by Sen. Roger Katz at the Governor Hill Mansion.

The bride is the daughter of Paul Rodrigue of Augusta and the late Maureen Rodrigue. The groom is the son of Lewis and Anne South of Wath-upon-Dearne, England.

Michelle Rodrigue was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shari Katz, Melanie Michaud, Shannon Scott, Bethany Sproul and Megan Tapley. Chloe Jackson was flower girl.

Andrew Kerr was best man. Ushers were Ryan Couldwell, Thomas Fairhurst, James Kinsella, Richard Pearson, Christopher Steadman-South and Lee South.

Mrs. South is a 2002 graduate of Cony High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Maine, Orono. She is employed as the Human Resources Manager at the Children’s Center and as a dance instructor at Dance Unlimited, both in Augusta.

Mr. South is a 2004 graduate of Wath Comprehensive School and a 2008 graduate of Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, England. He is employed by On Target Utilities in Gardiner.

The couple took a honeymoon to The Berkshires in Massachusetts and reside in Augusta.
