ALBION — As the snow fell softly outside like a winter wonderland, Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church in Waterville was the December 29, 2012, setting uniting Beth Ellen Corey and Sean William Leary in holy matrimony. Officiating at the ceremony was Pastor Brent Small from Faith Evangelical Free Church. Music for their ceremony was provided by Dawn Powers, pianist; Shel Sherman flutist; and soloist Erin Corey, cousin of the bride. Jessica Bucklin, cousin of the bride, provided a reading from the New Testament book of Ephesians.

A reception followed at the Waterville Elks Banquet Center. Pictures were taken by Kivalo Photography, friend of the bride’s family.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Carolyn Corey of Albion. Parents of the groom are Bill Leary of Fairfield and Jennifer Leary, also of Fairfield. Grandmothers of the couple were escorted in to the ceremony in gowns of their own choosing. They are Mrs. Orman (Roberta) Corey of Albion, Mrs. Reginald (Kathryn) Leary of Fairfield, Mrs. John (Arline )Julia of Fairfield and Mrs. Fred (Carleen) Nelson of Clinton.

Given in marriage by her parents, Beth was escorted to the altar by her Dad. Cheryl Corey served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Wilson, sister of the groom; Ashley Poulin, friend of the bride; Nicole Corey, sister-in-law of the bride; and Alicia Curtis, friend of the bride.

Nathan Corey, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. Carmen Corey, Madelyn Corey and Hayley Wilson, nieces of the bride and groom, served as flower girls.

Best man was Peter Curtis, friend of the groom. Ushering were Gabe Corey, brother of the bride, Brett Quimby, Matthew Walker and Kevin Gallant, all friends of the groom.

The bride graduated from Lawrence High School and Thomas College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and now teaches kindergarten at Fairfield Primary in Fairfield.

The groom graduated from Lawrence High School and then graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Sean is employed at Insurance Auto Auctions in Clinton.

Their honeymoon followed at the Now Sapphire Resort in Cancun, Mexico.

The couple makes their home in Waterville.
