BELGRADE — Library Day will be celebrated Saturday, March 23, at the Belgrade Public Library on Depot Road with author visits and a book sale.

Linda Snow McLoon, Belgrade native and author, will talk about growing up in Belgrade, horseback riding and her new books in the Brookmeade Young Riders series “Crown Prince” and “Crown Prince Challenged” at 10 a.m. Maine members of the Sisters in Crime New England present five-minute reads “Murder by the Minute” from noon to 2 p.m. The author readings are free and open to the public and authors will offer books for sale and autographs.

The book sale will be going on at Belgrade Central School gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 2p.m. A large selection of used books will be for sale. For details, visit the library website at www.belgrade.lib.me.us or call the library at 495-3508.
