FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were North/South: Paul and Judy Jones, Lucien Veilleux and Patricia Kick, and Carroll and Audrey Harding.
East/West winners were Bill Lawry and Frances Roy, David Bourque and Charles Gagnon, and Paul Leberman and Diane Bishop.
The bridge club meets at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday at the Elks Lodge on Industrial Road in Waterville. Bring a partner. For more information, call 453-2410.
AUGUSTA — The Capitol City duplicate bridge club winners on Wednesday were: north/ south — Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman, Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley, and Paul Jones and Stan Mathieu; east/west — Nancy Lindgren and Nancy Lenfest, Ron Cote and Luke Merry, and Pat Damon and Henry Lerette.
The winners on May 2 were: north/south — Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley, Janet Arey and Tom Simmons, and Mary Anne Trafton and Kathleen Burden; east/west — Les Buzzell and Anil Goswami, John Erdman and Jane Elliott, and Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell.
The club meets at noon on Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates off Edison Drive and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St. All bridge players are welcome and a partner is guaranteed.
