SEARSPORT — Cheryl and Glenn McFadden of Searsport are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel McFadden to Nathan Paling, the son of Donna and Gary Paling of Wilton.
Rachel is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and Boston University and currently works for the University of Maine at Augusta.
Nate is a graduate of Bridgewater College in Virginia and teaches Spanish at Mt. Blue Middle School.
The couple is planning an October 2013 wedding to be held at the Boathouse in Belfast.
