SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset Career & Technical Center will hold its annual Career & Technical Education Awards Ceremony at 6 p.m. May 23 in the Skowhegan Area High School gymnasium. This will be the center’s 43rd year of educating CTE students, according to a news release. Parents, relatives and guests of students have been invited to attend the ceremony.
The center’s outstanding students for the school year will be recognized, and scholarships will be awarded to its graduating seniors.
Students are completing their education in one of the the following programs of study: Automotive Technology, Cooperative Education, Culinary Arts, Digital Graphic Arts, Early Childhood Education, Electrical Construction, Health Care Careers, Information Systems Technology, Outdoor Leadership & Skills, Pre-Engineering, Residential Construction, and Welding.
