SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset County Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program recently received grants from the Maine Community Foundation and the Hudson Foundation to create a website providing access to the educational materials developed during the eight years, 2006 to 2013, the program operated.

Both Maine foundations supported the program financially for multiple years.

The new website is www.teenpregnancypreven tion.net.

The website includes one-hour classes for high school students on making healthy decisions about sex and relationships, which the program’s advisory board hopes will be used to augment health curricula, according to a news release. There is also a script for health and counseling professionals to help them guide teens about sex in one-on-one sessions.
