WALDOBORO — The Old Broad Bay Family History Association of Waldoboro will hold its annual meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, 377 Manktown Road.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a presentation by Anette Ruppel Rodrigues entitled, “Fort George, Penobscot, 1778-1783 — A Safe Haven for Loyalist Close and Far.” Rodrigues is an instructor in German at the University of Maine, Orono.

Snacks and lunch will be provided. After lunch, a historical tour of Waldoboro Village will be conducted by local historian and author Mark Biscoe. A $5 dollar donation requested. All are welcome.
