CANAAN, Vt. — A New Hampshire father faces possible jail time after yelling at and jabbing his 12-year-old daughter’s basketball coach after a game in Vermont.

Forty-six-year-old David Tracy of Pittsburg was found guilty of disorderly conduct for his conduct after an early season game at the Canaan School in the Northeast Kingdom on the Vermont-New Hampshire border.

The Burlington Free Press reports that Tracy faces a possible 60-day jail term and a $500 fine when sentenced Jan. 27.

Essex County State’s Attorney Vincent Illuzzi said last week that Tracy was upset that his daughter did not get playing time and yelled at the coach as she was preparing to drive home.

A Vermont state trooper said Tracy denied yelling and swearing at the coach.
