RICHMOND — A guided bird walk will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, on Swan Island on the Kennebec River.
Led by birder David Ladd, participants will explore the habitats the island has to offer birds, including open meadow, woodland, interior wetlands and more.
Space is limited and registration is required. Participants will meet at the Swan Island dock at 9 a.m. and should bring binoculars and cameras. For more information, call 547-5322.
