AUGUSTA — The following cases were closed June 19-25, 2014, in Augusta District Court.

Penny Carver, 42, of Gardiner, possession of marijuana, up to one and one quarter ounce March 18 in Monmouth; $350 fine.

Jacob R. Choate, 25, of Augusta, theft by receiving stolen property May 5 and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer June 24, both in Augusta; five-day jail sentence, $15 restitution.

Natasha Gagne, 27, of Augusta, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and misuse of identification Nov. 16, 2013, in Augusta; $400 in fines, $508.40 restitution.

Jonathan Goodwin, 36, of Winthrop, unlawful possession of scheduled drug Feb. 19 in Winthrop; $400 fine, 364 day suspended jail sentence, one year administrative release.

Todd Hallett Sr., 36, of Hallowell, disorderly conduct — fighting, March 27 in Augusta; $300 fine.

Stephen D. Learned, 42, of Chelsea, disorderly conduct — offensive words, gestures, criminal trespass, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and refusing to sign criminal summons, all March 21 in Gardiner; 96 hour jail sentence.

Milton E. Libby, 19, of Chelsea, possession of marijuana, up to one and one quarter ounce May 13 in Augusta; $350 fine.

Jonathon Litchfield, 45, of South China, assault Feb. 8 in China; $300 fine.

Thomas Mansir, 38, of Gardiner, operating while license suspended or revoked April 6 in Augusta; $250 fine.

Joseph Oliveira Jr., 24, of Augusta, criminal mischief May 1, and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, violating condition of release and theft by deception June 24, all in Augusta; seven day jail sentence, $200 fine, $300 restitution.

Thomas L. Purington Jr., 25, of Chelsea, operating vehicle without license March 14 in Randolph; $300 fine.

Benjamin F. Rideout III, 22, of Chelsea, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer April 18 in Gardiner; 24 hour jail sentence.

Gabriel Sanchez, 30, of Augusta, violating protective order and refusing to sign criminal summons, both May 6 in Augusta; six month jail sentence.

Clifford John Henry Shea Jr., 47, of Farmingdale, refusing to submit to arrest or detention March 28 in Farmingdale; five day jail sentence.

Donald Smith, 36, of Farmingdale, criminal trespass June 19 in Farmingdale; 48 hour jail sentence.

Raymond E. Taylor, 50, of Chelsea and Windsor, two counts of failing to report, both Aug. 2, 2013, in Augusta; 14 day jail sentence.

Ashley E. Tobey, 22, of Sidney, operating under the influence May 19 in Augusta; $500 fine, 96 hour jail sentence, 150 day license suspension.

Heather Young, 27, of Augusta, violating condition of release May 8 in Augusta; 30 day jail sentence.
