SKOWHEGAN — Michaela Lewia scored off an assist from Lauren Dusty as the Skowhegan girls soccer team won their first game of the season with a 1-0 win over Cony.

Tara Bernard made 12 saves and Tadem Parker stopped three shots for the Indians (1-10-1).

Autumn Sudsbury made eight saves for Cony (0-11-1).

WATERVILLE 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Pilar Elias had six goals and an assist to lead the host Purple Panthers to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win.

Jordan Jabar added a goal and three assists for Waterville (11-0-0) while Sarah Shoulta had a goal and two assists.

Emily Keene made 27 saves for Spruce Mountain (2-7-2).

MARANACOOK 3, MCI 1: The Black Bears scored three second-half goals, including two by Sarah Clough, to earn the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Catherine Sanborn also scored for Maranacook (7-2-1). Elizabeth D’Angelo made 12 saves.

Ashley Alton scored off a direct kick in the first half for MCI (3-6-1). Gabbi Pyles stopped 24 shots.

NOKOMIS 1, GARDINER 0: Anna Smestad scored the lone goal to give the Warriors the KVAC B win in Newport.

Taylor Davis made five saves for Nokomis (6-5-0) while Lauren Chadwick stopped eight shots for Gardiner (1-7-3).

LISBON 1, MADISON 1: Kayla Bess scored off an assist from Whitney Bess as the Bulldogs settled for a Mountain Valley Conference tie Thursday in Madison.

Deliah Schreiber scored for Lisbon (7-2-3). Ali Sult made 12 saves.

Erin Whalen stopped three shots for Madison (11-0-1).

LEAVITT 1, WINSLOW 0: Victoria Decoster off a corner kick midway through the first half and Leavitt made it stand to earn the victory.

Angela Daigle had five saves for the Hornets (3-5-3) while Hillary Libby had 15 for the Raiders (5-6-0).

MORSE 7, MOUNT VIEW 1: Miracle Trimble scored four goals and Sophie Sreden added a goal and an assist to lead the Shipbuilders.

Brittany Dugal scored for Mount View (2-9-0).

WATERVILLE 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Danilo Guthro and Mike Olivera each recorded hat tricks to pace the Purple Panthers past the Phoenix in Jay.

Bridger Holly and Fernandro Ramiro also scored goals for Waterville (8-3-0), while Ethan Cayer chipped in with a pair of assists.

Nick Guild stopper eight shots in net for Spruce Mountain (0-10-0).

CARRABEC 1, MT. ABRAM 0: Seth Burns scored a goal three minutes into the second half, giving the Cobras the MVC win over the Roadrunners in North Anson.

Trent Richardson had two saves to earn the shutout for Carrabec (7-4-0).

Tristen Dyer had six saves for Mt. Abram (8-3-0).

MESSALONSKEE 1, OXFORD HILLS 0: Devin Pickett scored off an assist from Shea McCann to give the Eagles the KVAC A win in South Paris.

Jonah Webb made nine saves for Messalonskee (5-6-0).

Jake Bauchesne stopped seven shots for Oxford Hills (3-8-0).

CONY 4, SKOWHEGAN 0: Brett Sproul scored two goals to lift the Rams to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Conner Perry and Tyler Sproul scored a goal each for Cony (2-9-1). Justin Audet and Aaron Bernier combined to make seven saves.

Daquan Frost made 14 saves for Skowhegan (0-9-2).

VALLEY 2, RANGELEY 1, OT: Joey Thomas scored the game-winner in overtime to spoil the Lakers’ homecoming in a game played at Mt. Ararat High School Thursday night.

Devon Clark gave Rangeley the early lead before Cody Laweryson tied things up for Valley (3-9-0) with a goal off an assist from Collin Miller.
