FARMINGTON — The Farmington Warming Center will resume on Tuesdays and Thursdays in January, February and March 2015 for its sixth season, according to a news release from the center. Hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and everyone is invited to come for coffee and conversation, to make a puzzle, or play a game. At noon, people are welcome to stay for lunch of soup and dessert provided by volunteers. There is no charge and reservations are not needed. Coffee and snacks will also be provided by community friends and contributions of snacks or help by guests are always welcome.

• Henderson Memorial, 110 Academy St., Tuesdays — Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Feb. 3, 10; 778-2163.

• St. Joseph’s, 133 Middle St., Tuesdays — Feb. 17, 24 and March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; 778-2778.

• Old South, 227 Main St., all Thursdays — Jan. 8-Feb. 26; 778-0424.

Volunteers are welcome and those who have a talent to share, please offer. The center is not equipped to supervise childcare or adult day care. Public transportation is available for a small fee by calling Western Mountain Transportation in advance at 800-393-9335. For weather related cancellations listen to WKTJ-FM 99.3.
