Sheepscot Valley Regional School Unit 12 is participating in the Summer Food Service Program in cooperation with the Maine Department of Education Nutrition Program. The program runs Monday through Friday until Aug. 22, according to a release from RSU 12.

The program is open to any child 18 and younger. Any child who shows up is given lunch. There are no forms, no guidelines. All children eat for free.

The bag lunches are prepared at Chelsea Elementary School and sent to Whitefield and Windsor elementary schools for distribution, according to the release.

Sites and hours:

• Chelsea Elementary School, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Whitefield Elementary School, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Windsor Elementary School, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
