To kickoff Smithfield’s 175th anniversary celebration, Christmas in July is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Fairview Grange. Admission is free.

• 10 decorated trees — vote for the one.

• Fairview Grange food sale.

• North Pond Association hot dogs and drinks.

• Smithfield Baptist Church pie sale.

• Smithfield Christmas Club handmade ornaments for sale.

• Smithfield Fire and Rescue Association basket raffle.

• Smithfield Maine Historical Society 2015 history book and calendars.

• Santa will arrive by firetruck 11 a.m. with goody bags for children.
