Wild by Nature program set for Lithgow Library
AUGUSTA — Lithgow Public Library will host “Wild By Nature,” a multimedia tour into the Maine wilderness with Lee Ann and Thomas Mark Szelog, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. The free program will be held in the program room of Lithgow’s temporary quarters at the Ballard Center, 6 E. Chestnut St.
The Szelogs will guide attendees into the Maine woods, along the coast, from a typical backyard to Maine’s great north woods. Sharing an unusual visual journal, a personal almanac, and a keepsake unique to Maine.
A professional photographer for 30 years, Tom Szelog specializes in photographing wildlife, nature and landscapes for the editorial, corporate and fine art markets.
The Szelogs are the authors of two books, “Our Point of View – Fourteen Years at a Maine Lighthouse” and “By a Maine River – A Year of Looking Closely”.
