Elks Summer Music Festival set for July 31, Aug. 1
The Augusta Elk Lodge, 397 Civic Center Drive, will host the Elk Summer Music Festival Friday, July 31, and Saturday, Aug. 1, to benefit the Travis Mills Foundation. The festival is a two day, family friendly event and will feature local bands, according to a news release from the lodge.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m. Friday with a presentation to Travis Mills, followed by musical performances from Working Class and Emerald Sky.
Saturday’s festivities begin at 9 a.m. with free children’s activities until noon. Musical performances will kick off at noon with “Elvis”, Amber Jack, Yellow Brick Road, Little Twisted, False Alarm, and the GE3KS all performing on stage throughout the day.
Food and beverages will be available to purchase both days and vendor tables and raffles will also be included.
Admission cost $10 per day or $15 for a two-day weekend pass.
