HAMPTON FALLS, N.H. – New Hampshire State Police say the driver of a pickup truck was killed after the vehicle went off of Interstate 95 in Hampton Falls and crashed.
Police said the truck was traveling south on I-95 about 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The driver, 71-year-old Daniel Alexander, and 69-year-old Sandra Alexander, both of Farmingdale, Maine, were taken to the hospital. Daniel Alexander was pronounced dead and Sandra Alexander was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating why the truck left the road. Two lanes of I-95 northbound were closed for about 35 minutes and one lane of I-95 southbound was closed for several hours.
