WORCESTER, Mass. — Three local students graduated May14 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute during the university’s 148th commencement ceremony.

The graduates include Brynn Cardozo, of Palmyra, Maine, who received a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry with distinction; Arianna Nitzel, of Farmingdale, Maine, who earned a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry with distinction; and Kyle Foley, of Madison, Maine, who received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering.
