The following SummerFest events are planned in St. Albans:

Friday, July 8

8 a.m.-3 p.m. Indoor rummage sale at the Chatterbox Club, Mason Corner Road .

5 p.m. Cribbage tournament at the Town Hall. Bring your own Cribbage board, if possible. Entry fee is $5 — 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash payout.

6 p.m. Street Dance at the Town Hall Parking lot w/ DJ Rock n Rod (free)

Saturday, July 9

7 a.m.-9 p.m. Information Booth is located at the Town Hall parking lot.

7-9 a.m. St. Albans Union Church Youth Group breakfast at the church; by donation.

8 a.m.-3 p.m. Indoor rummage sale at the Chatterbox, Mason Corner Road .

8 a.m. Registration for the horseshoe tournament at Indian Stream Hardware, Palmyra Road .

8:30-9:30 a.m. Registration and line-up for the parade at St. Albans Elementary School, 129 Hartland Road.

9 a.m. Horse shoe tournament at Indian Stream Hardware, Palmyra Road.

9 a.m.-2 p.m. craft and vendor fair opens at the Town Hall

9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Comprehensive Plan Committee booth at the Fire Station.

10 a.m. parade starts from the St. Albans Elementary School, 129 Hartland Road, and proceeds through town.

10 a.m. Grange food shack opens at the Grange, Water Street.

11 a.m. Lions Club chicken barbecue at the Dam; $8 per dinner. Fried dough will be sold near the Town Hall from 11 a.m. until sold out.

11 a.m. Kids games, inflatable waterslide open at Indian Stream Hardware.

11:30 a.m. Money and toy pile begin at Indian Stream Hardware.

Noon: Skowhegan Community Band will perform by the dam.

1 p.m. Pie-eating contest at the Grang; three age categories.

1 p.m. H.J. Crosby Community Band will perform by the dam.

2 p.m. Wiffle ball tournament, ball field, Mason Corner Road; $2 per person entry fee.

2 p.m. Sebasticook Community Band will perform by the dam.

3 p.m. Sunday Project Band will perform by the dam.

3 p.m. Cribbage tournament doubles at the Grange, Water Street; $5 entry fee.

5 p.m. Pork barbecue at the Grange, Water Street.

6:45-8:45 p.m. Gary Knowles concert at the Town Hall — a variety of classic rock, blue grass and country.

9:30 p.m. Fireworks over Big Indian Lake.

Sunday, July 10

9 a.m. Sunday School at St. Albans Union Church.

10:30 a.m. Morning Worship at the St. Albans Union Church.

11:30 a.m. Free cookout following Worship Service; all are welcome. Liberty Blue grass Band will perform after the cookout.
