WINTHROP — “Her Heart Can See,” a special program based on the life of an American hymn writers Fanny Crosby, will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the United Methodist Church.

This unique first-person, living history interpretation will be presented by the Rev. Ann Partner Nelson, of Wells, and her husband. Nelson has been researching, writing and giving monologues about Crosby for more than 20 years. This event, featuring the singing of several hymns, will be a journey through Crosby’s life, including the fact that she was blind from an early age, yet still managed to write some 8,000 hymns.

There will be no charge, a mission offering for the Wonder-A-While Nursery School will be received.

Refreshments will follow. Child care will be available.
