BOOTHBAY HARBOR — The 7th annual ARTinME! Show will be on view Oct. 15-Nov. 13 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, 1 Downsent Ave. and is open to all artists with a Maine address.

Artists can submit no more than two pieces, no larger than 4 feet by 4 feet each. Sculpture must weigh no more than 50 pounds. Photographs will not be accepted, though people are encouraged to submit to the Maine Photography Show, also sponsored by Art Foundation.

The exhibit will present a fresh and selective look at the fine art being produced by Maine artists today, showcasing originality and skill in the painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture media. Monetary prizes of more than $1,500 will be awarded.

Liam Sullivan, director of Outreach and Enrollment at Maine College of Art, will be the judge for this year’s art show.

Sullivan has an MFA in printmaking from UMass Dartmouth, has taught at UMass and the New Hampshire Institute of Art before coming to Maine. Since he has been at MECA, he has organized the Maine Scholastic Art Awards in collaboration with the Maine Arts Commission and the Maine Art Educators Association.
