GARDINER — Capital City Improv will Perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center on Water Street. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The comedy troupe uses audience suggestions to create a customized comedy show. Based in Augusta, the group has been making people laugh for more than two years with their quick witted, lighting fast short-form improv.

Their 80-minute shows utilize the audience and their suggestions to create something wonderful, right on the spot. Improv is a form of live theater where the plot, characters and all other aspects are made up on the spot, often by the audience.

Tickets cost $16 for adults or $14. for seniors. This is a 18-plus show. Tickets are available from noon to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday at Johnson Hall’s Box Office, call 582-7144 or visit
