Dinner and a Show: Cape Breton and Acadian Music will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. in Madison.
Dinner will be followed by an evening of Acadian music with Gus La Casse and Peter Lindquist. A folk fiddler with both speed and savage energy, La Casse’s repertoire reflects his innovative spirit and dedication to the Cape Breton and Acadian fiddle traditions.
Lindquist is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose songwriting includes elements of bluegrass, folk and country music.
Tickets cost $30 and include bread, salad, dessert and entree choice of New York strip with mushroom gravy, roast chicken breast and wing with gravy, or mushroom Stroganoff. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
