In just three days – in the fourth month of the year, on the fourth day of the month – we are holding our fourth annual Source Awards. The event, which includes dinner and a celebration of this year’s Source Maine sustainability champs, as well as three passionate young people who were awarded Russell Libby Agricultural Scholarships, is at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. We’d love to see you there.
If past experience is any guide, the guests and winners form something of a Who’s Who of Maine’s environmentally minded community. The speeches are short. The food and drinks are good. And it’s always a real pleasure to celebrate the achievements of people and organizations who are doing the right thing by our state and, by extension, our planet. Please help us fete them. Tickets, which cost $25, are available at pressherald.com/sourceawards.
