It’s good that Carol Johnson is running for the Belgrade Select Board because she’s a candidate we can count on to deliver on campaign promises.

Whether it’s years of work on the Belgrade Lakes Association to ensure the water quality of our vital lakes; service on the Town Budget Committee; dedication at Belgrade’s Union Church, which provides outreach throughout the school and community; or leadership of the Friends of Belgrade Lakes Village’s successful efforts to enhance the village during the road reconstruction project, Carol has demonstrated her commitment and vision for Belgrade over time.

Now she’s ready to tackle the significant issues facing Belgrade today: salt contamination of wells by the town office; road run-off that affects water quality; and fiscal policies that maintain services and employ cost-saving technology. Carol will address these and other topics that affect Belgrade’s property values and tax base. She has the skill, ability and energy to work on fair and effective solutions to current problems and the new ones that are sure to come. Count on Carol to take on a challenge, know that she will see it through to completion and do it well!

Please let her count on your vote on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Center for all Seasons from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; at the Belgrade Town Office through Oct. 28; or by absentee ballot at the Town Office through Oct. 28.
