During my NASCAR career I traveled all around the country to different tracks for races. In every corner of America, people knew about Mainers’ reputation for hard work, integrity, and honesty.

That reputation is well-earned. I’m from a Fort Kent logging family and can tell you that folks in Aroostook County work their fingers to the bone trying to survive.

That’s why I’ll always fight against attempts from either political party to cut Social Security or Medicare. Mainers work too hard to be worried about having the rug pulled out from under them later in life.

I’m running for Congress to fight for and protect Maine’s working class. Some politicians just don’t understand that Social Security and Medicare are vital survival tools. They’re wrong, and I’ll make sure they know it.
