Hannaford Supermarkets has recalled packages of its in-house branded Original Seafood Salad over a possible mislabeling of allergens.
Twelve-ounce packages of the salad sold Oct. 26-29 – and with sell-by dates of Nov. 13 and 14 – may be missing the “soy” allergen label, the company said in a statement Wednesday morning.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported, and all impacted products have been pulled from sale, Hannaford said. The salads were sold in the deli department.
Impacted salads can be returned for a full refund, Hannaford said. The company is asking customers to check for salads they may have in storage and not eat them.
Those with questions are asked to contact their local store or call Hannaford customer relations at 800-213-9040.
