Mikey Romero and James Tibbs III hit RBI singles in the third inning, and three Portland pitchers combined on a six-hitter as the Sea Dogs beat the Altoona Curve, 2-1, in an Eastern League game Thursday afternoon at Hadlock Field.
Sea Dogs starting pitcher Caleb Bolden worked five innings, allowing one run on four hits and a walk, with five strikeouts. Jorge Juan and Yovanny Cruz each pitched two scoreless innings.
