WILTON — Local and state police are on scene of an apparent standoff Friday on Cemetery Road, just between Routes 4 and 133.
A state police tactical team was on scene assisting local police departments to diffuse a standoff situation at 58 Cemetery Road, according to Shannon Moss, Maine Public Safety spokesperson.
Moss said no further information was available from state police.
By 2:42 p.m. Facebook comments declared the standoff over.
Wilton police were not immediately available for details.
