Yves Lambert Trio

RANGELEY — The Yves Lambert Trio, a beacon in the aesthetics of Quebec’s cultural heritage, will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the RFA Lakeside Theater. The concert will be presented by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts in conjunction with New England Celtic Arts.

Lambert is a back country musician with a kamikaze style, whose 36-year career has made him the veritable patriarch of the revival of Quebec’s musical roots. His trio demonstrates how traditional local music continually reinvents itself within a modern context.
