Smith: Skilled negotiator ready for the council
I have known and worked with David Smith for over 10 years. He was chairman of the Augusta Planning Board when I joined. He was then and continues to be passionate about the future of Augusta. I watched and learned much from him about city government. His interpersonal skills with the other board members and the public coming before the board were outstanding.

Vose’s interest in a better Augusta is clear
I am writing in support of Corey Vose and his bid for a City Council-At-Large seat. Through my experiences coaching youth athletics, I've had the pleasure of meeting Corey. His love of his family and commitment to his community are attributes that I soon learned about him. I have witnessed him interacting with young children in ice hockey, soccer and baseball, where he takes an interest in each child's love and knowledge of the game.

Augusta needs time togather data about fireworks
It was with some disbelief that I watched the local TV coverage of discussion between our City Council and members of the public about the proposed ordinance to ban fireworks in Augusta.
