Many of the past months have been very mild and we are starting December on a similar note.

We’re still in a drought across much of Maine, so the rain this week will help moisten the ground before the freeze-up next month.

Since there is no El Nino this year, Maine’s weather should more closely resemble what you’d expect.

The weather this morning should be mainly dry for football games, but late in the morning watch for some drizzle or light snow

Record low amounts of sea ice are happening this fall across the northernmost reaches of the globe.

But the chilly temperatures that arrived with this morning’s light snow could stick around.

Today is a mild mid-November day, perhaps the final day of 60-degree weather for many.

A coastal low pressure system will bring rain, heavy at times this afternoon and evening.
